Drawn Out
23rd November to 26th January 2001
London Print Studio Gallery, 425 Harrow Road, London, W10 4RE
Drawn Out was the third in a series of exhibitions entitled PRINTED SPACE at londonprintstudio Gallery. It was an exhibition looking at the temporal process of mark-making. The act of drawing was explored as a means of producing space and recording time. Each of the artists used drawing as a means of making sense of the physical world in which we live. Drawn Out was less interested in drawing as a mode of representation and instead focused on its informative mechanisms.
… In Drawn Out, each artist employed drawing as a means of making sense of the physical world around us; a world represented as a place that is continually ‘drawn out’ over time.
